How do I know how to plan my time at the symposium?
- EASY! You can see who will be demonstrating by clicking on the ROTATION TAB (located on the left side of the page) or you can view the rotation schedule by clicking here! There will also be a full schedule listed in the Symposium book you will receive when you enter the Symposium.
- Additionally, there will be signage located at the Main entrance that shows the total weekend schedule as well as individual schedules for the demonstration occurring at each station during the Symposium.

Will there be a block of hotel rooms available for Symposium attendees?
- YES! Arrangements are being made at local hotels for discounted rooms. Please click on the 'Lodging/Food ' box on the Home Page. Be sure to mention the Virginia Woodturning Symposium when making your reservation to get the Symposium rate.

Is there food available during the Symposium?
- YES! EXPO has a lunch counter that serves hot food and drinks as well as bottled water, coffee, and sodas at reasonable prices. If you prefer to go off-site for lunch, there are three “fast food” restaurants just up the road from the Symposium – McDonald’s, Wendy’s, and Sheetz.

Are there things for my spouse to do while I am at the Symposium?
- YES! Please click on the “Area Attractions” tab (located on the left side of the page) to see what is available within a 30 minute drive from the Symposium. There are vineyards, antique malls, and museums all around the Symposium area. But make sure your spouse saves you funds for you to shop at the Symposium’s vendors!
